Wayland Police Bust Man in Recent Home Break-Ins

Wayland Police have charged a 26-year-old Marlboro man in connection with a recent string of home break-ins.

Nicholas Petruzzi, 26, of Marlborough, was charged with four counts of receiving stolen property over $250 and was scheduled to appear in Framingham District Court on Tuesday, according to Wayland Police. During the breakin-ins, the suspect targeted jewelry and electronic items.

Petruzzi was charged after a collaborative effort between area police who identified him in connection with home break-ins that occurred over the past few months, police said.

Petruzzi is not facing charges for the actual break-ins.
