New hours for the library and more things you need to know.
1. Today, Weather.com says we're looking at a high in the mid-80s under mostly sunny skies. Shaping up to be a great day for a trip to the Wayland Community Pool or Town Beach. 2. If you're interested in learning about where you got your eye color or how your family wound up in Wayland (or New England in general), the genealogy group at the Council on Aging could be for you. The twice-monthly group discusses techniques and ideas for tracing family history. 3. The Wayland Public Library is now on its summer hours schedule. It's open Monday-Wednesday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Thursday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The library is closed on Sundays throughout the summer. 4.
