The product may contain Listeria Monocytogenes.
Whole Foods Market is recalling one lot of its Whole Catch Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon because it may contain Listeria Monocytogenes. Wayland artist Dan Balter is showing his Whole Foods-inspired art at ... Whole Foods.
Wayland artist Dan Balter has an obsession with Whole Foods Market's paper grocery bags. His obsession takes the form of painting on them. Balter is the co-founder of Fireseed Arts, an artists' collective whose goal is connecting eco-artists with the patrons of the art. Enjoy dessert and fight cancer at the same time.
A couple of Wayland businesses are giving you another reason to save room for dessert. Starting May 7, two Wayland businesses will be participating in the 13th annual Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer. During this event, participating businesses create a special dessert to include on the menu, and proceeds from that dessert will benefit cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Bakes for Breast Cancer, Inc., a newly formed non-profit breast cancer organization dedicated to making a difference in the fight against breast cancer. The event runs May 7-May 13, just in time to treat Mom to a nice dinner and dessert for Mother's Day. Participating restaurants and bakeries in Wayland include: Viva Mexican Grill Whole Foods Market

Projects on sale at the Wayland Whole Foods will support developing countries.
Some Claypit Hill BASE students are using their creativity to raise money that will help individuals in poor and developing communities around the world. The students visited with Jaimee Rondeau, Whole Foods Market Team Leader and Whole Planet Foundation volunteer. Rondeau talked to the students about The Whole Planet Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Whole Foods Market. According to a press release, the Whole Planet Foundation supplies "innovative assistance for entrepreneurship, including direct micro-credit loans and tangible support for community projects." Each micro-loan is for less than $250 and requires little or no credit to obtain. More than 25 students then created small globes that depict their visions for a "Whole Planet." The …
