Wayland Boys' Ice Hockey Team Kicks Off Post-Season Thursday
The Wayland boys' ice hockey team will take on Rockport Thursday in the first round of the MIAA tournament.
The Wayland High School boys' ice hockey team earned a No. 7 seed in North Division 3 of the 2013 MIAA Boys Ice Hockey Tournament. The Warriors will open tournament play Thursday night in Stoneham against Rockport, a No. 10 seed. The puck drops at 5:30 p.m. The Warriors finished the regular season with a 9-7-4 record. The winner of Thursday's Wayland vs. Rockport game will take on No. 2 seeded Marblehead in the second round on Saturday, March 2 at a to-be-determined location.
