A Veteran Wayland Selectmen Not Running for Re-election

Increased work and home commitments led to his decision.

The below was supplied by current Wayland Board of Selectmen Chair Tom Fay. Due to increased work obligations and a busy home life, I have decided not to run for re-election to the Wayland Board of Selectmen. This decision was very difficult for me. I thoroughly enjoy public service. My fellow Board members are great to work with, as are the dozens of resident volunteers who serve on various town boards, committees and commissions. I also have enjoyed meeting many residents during the past three years as we work towards addressing various town issues and solving problems. We are lucky to have so many talented individuals who donate their time and talent to make Wayland a well-run town. On the home front, my four children keep things …
