On Sept. 11, 2011, individuals in Wayland joined people around the country in remembering the 10-year anniversary of the day that changed so many lives and lingers even now, 11 years later, in vivid memories. Wayland can seem insulated from such tragedy, but, in fact, the tragedy hit very close to home. The rules changed for Wayland's emergency responders when it come to responding to calls.
