Wayland struggled to put points on the board during Saturday's D3 Super Bowl.
Wayland put up a fight on a snowy Bentley University field, but fell short Saturday as the Sharon Eagles emerged victorious in the Eastern Massachusetts D3 Super Bowl. A late fourth quarter interception by Sharon all but sealed the victory, and the final scoreboard recorded a 12-3 Sharon victory. The Warriors were playing in their first divisional Super Bowl since 2006 and earned their berth this year with a semifinal win over Westwood on Tuesday. A post-game party will take place at the Wayland High School Field House.
