The Wayland Children and Parents Association welcomed dozens of children to the Wayland Town Building gym on Nov. 12 for an up close and personal experience with some furry friends. And scaly friends ... And flying friends ... And slithering friends ... Curious Creatures brings a wide variety of animals to kids' events with the goal of teaching "respect and appreciation for exotic and unusual animals," according to its website.
