Wayland Schools Submit Bullying Prevention Plan
The state-required plan outlines reporting resources, training and curriculum guidelines for preventing bullying.
The Bullying Prevention and Intervention Plan that Wayland Public Schools submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) includes elements of training, reporting options, resources and curriculum adoption ideas designed to curtail bullying in the town's schools. The plan comes as a result of the 2010 Massachusetts law that forbids bullying and retaliation in schools and requires schools and school districts to create action plans for preventing and addressing incidents of bullying.
