DPW and Rivers Edge Discussions
Monday night, the Wayland Board of Selectmen will hear from town board representatives about the access road to a proposed new Department of Public Works facility off River Road. Then, representatives from the Economic Development Committee will discuss the latest on the River's Edge project. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Wayland Town Building.Last Week of the Wayland Town Beach Season
If you've been meaning to get to the Wayland Town Beach this summer, this is your last chance. The beach closes for the season on Aug. 18.Final Water Wise Workshop
This is also the final opportunity of the year for your kids to enjoy the Water Wise Workshops at Lake Cochituate. The final session, Water Wise Wizards, is Tuesday at 10 a.m.Outdoor Concert on the Town Building Lawn
The Dirty Water Brass Band will set up at Wayland Town Building Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a free concert made possible by a grant from the Friends of the Wayland Council on Aging. Free refreshments will be served, so bring your friends and a picnic blanket or lawn chairs for the show.Teen Pizza Party
Head to the Wayland Public Library Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a pizza party for teens who have participated in the summer reading program "Beneath the Surface."Kids Ice Cream Bash
