Private Music Lessons for Wayland Public School Students

Private Music Lessons, through Wayland Public Schools

Orchestra Members, Grades 3 -12
Band Members, Grades 4 -12
Chorus Members, Grades 6 -12

Under the coordination of Claypit Hill School music teacher Bernadette Vanaria, private lessons are available to children participating in Wayland Public School music programs. These lessons are offered under the umbrella of Wayland School Community Programs. Teachers are highly experienced, seasoned performers and educators. According to Ms. Vanaria, “The lesson content is consistent with the musical standards, goals and objectives of the Wayland Publlic Schools.”

Where are lessons available? Students may take lessons at Claypit Hill, Loker, Happy Hollow, Wayland Middle School and Wayland High School. Lesson are scheduled in the early afternoon and evening, Monday through Friday.

How many lessons are offered? The program has a fall and winter semester with each term consisting of 14 lessons.

What kinds of lessons are available? Strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and voice in 30, 45 or 60-minute weekly increments.
