Jayme Nowland, a licensed social worker, and Rachel Gutner, a certified teacher, are offering "Books and Bonding" to the greater Wayland Community. This is an opportunity for a 2nd or 3rd grade student and a special adult (mother, father, grandparent, etc.) to bond with each other through a shared reading experience! The program will include relationship building exercises, engaging discussion questions, and fun book-related activites.
The cost of this three-day workshop is $62 per pair.
Books will be provided on the first session - no need to purchase or read in advance!

Participates will read and relate through, Sable, a heartwarming chapter book about a girl and her dog. This book explores themes of love, loyalty, friendship, determination, and parent-child relationships.
This program is appropriate for students in grades 2 and 3.
