Boston Magazine has ranked the Wayland Public Schools in the top 10 of public schools in the Boston area.
Among the other nearby districts that ranked higher than Wayland – Lincoln, Lexington and Concord. In total, 147 districts were ranked.
The magazine used data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to compile the rankings. Among the data points used to make the rankings – student to teacher ratio, graduation rate and average class size.
