Wayland High School Ranked No. 28 in Mass.

A report found Wayland High's "college readiness score" was above the state average.

US News & World Report released its annual report of the nation's top high schools this month and Wayland High School was ranked No. 28 on the list of best public high schools in Massachusetts.

The report found:

  • Wayland High has a 14:1 student-to-teacher ratio (state average was 13:1)
  • Its "college readiness" score was 46.2 out of 100, which was above the state average
  • 95 percent of students were proficient in math
  • 99 percent of students were proficient in English
The report also ranked Wayland High No. 529 in the country.
