Wayland Selectmen to Revisit TA Termination Monday

The saga of the fired town administrator continues on Monday.

The Wayland Board of Selectmen will vote on Monday whether to confirm and ratify the previous Aug. 26 termination of former town administrator Fred Turkington.

The move is meant to address two Open Meeting Law complaints filed by Wayland resident Kim Reichelt. The board has denied it violated the law. The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office is reviewing the complaints to determine whether selectmen broke the law.

Selectmen will also meet with the Personnel Board to further discussing the search for a new permanent town administrator, including the job description and creating a search process.
