Wayland BOS to Interview Interim TA Candidate on Monday

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Wayland Board of Selectmen is scheduled to begin interviewing interim town administrator candidates on Monday, according to its agenda.

The meeting is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayland Town Building.

Selectmen are scheduled to interview Richard Kerbel for the interim town administrator job.

In an email to Wayland Patch, Acting Town Administrator John Senchyshyn said he has gathered a "small" group of candidates for the interim job and plans to have more interviewed at the selectmen's Oct. 28 meeting.

Once chosen, the interim town administrator would take over for Senchyshyn until a new permanent administrator was found.

Selectmen are also scheduled to review responses to its request for proposals for consulting firms to possibly assist in the search for a new permanent town administrator.
