Peisch Wins State Rep. Race in a Landslide

Alice Peisch will fill the House of Representatives 14th Norfolk District seat for the next two years.

 

Rep. Alice Peisch defeated Jerome B. Carr in a landslide victory for a state representative seat in today’s primary election.

Peisch (D-Wellesley) received 90 percent of the vote, which was spread across Wellesley, Weston and Precinct 4 in Wayland, according to unofficial results from Wellesley Town Clerk Kathleen Nagle.

Peisch retains the Massachusetts 14th Norfolk District seat for a sixth term as there is no Republican challenger. She took office in 2003.
