Open Meeting Complaint Hearing is Monday

The Open Meeting Law hearing will begin at 8 p.m.

The Wayland Board of Selectmen will hold a hearing Monday to review and discuss an Open Meeting Law complaint filed against them by a local resident.

The hearing will begin at 8 p.m. at the Town Building for the complaint filed by resident and Wayland Patch blogger Kim Reichelt. She alleges the selectmen did not  “properly inform the public” in its Aug. 26 meeting agenda to detail they would be discussing terminating former town administrator Fred Turkington.

The meeting will also include discussion about the role of acting Town Administrator John Senchyshyn and the search for a new permanent town administrator.
