Give and take

 Wayland  See map

Give and take will now be open Tuesdays 8 am till 4 pm.

Thursdays and Saturdays 7 am till 4 pm .

You must be a Wayland resident and have a current permit in order to leave or take items. Please help and keep this fun and safe. We ask that you only leave something that could be used by someone else. A kitchen table with 3 legs should not be left there. We also ask that no paint or electronics be left there.

People not following the rules will be asked to leave.

Also just a reminder that the give and take will close during bad weather .

Let's all enjoy the nice weather and great people who visit us.

Thank you

Donnie Gladu

do you have to have a permit to leave stuff?

Hi Esther. I'd never considered whether you need a permit to put stuff in the Give and Take pile. I know that there are donation bins at the Transfer Station -- for Habitat for Humanity (this one is pretty specific item requests) and some other charities that don't require permits, which could be a good option for you.

Whoops, just read Donnie's announcement a bit more carefully. You need to be a Wayland resident and have a current permit to give or take.
