Wayland Police Logs: Report of Smashed Mailboxes

The following information was provided by the Wayland Police Department. Where charges or arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate an arrest.

Dec. 23

1:28 a.m. - Police responded to a report of a dog walking down West Plain Street bleeding. The dog was reunited with its owner. 

1:56 a.m. - Disabled car on Old Sudbury Road.

6 a.m. - A person reported a car hit and run that occurred earlier in the day.

-8:24 a.m. - A caller reported a lumber truck blocking Plain Road. 

11:20 p.m. - A caller reported mailboxes being smashed on Oxbow Road. Another caller told police he was being followed to his Moore Road home after being confronted about the situation. Police were unable to locate any suspicious people.

4:29 a.m. - Caller reported he had lost his cell phone.
