Wayland Police Logs: Identity Theft

The following information was provided by the Wayland Police Department. Where charges or arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate an arrest.

The following is a sample of the Wayland Police logs.

Sept. 11 

9:35 a.m. – A contractor struck a gas line on Michael Road.

9:48 a.m. – A caller reported a sick fox in her driveway on Forty Acres Drive. Police were unable to locate it.

12:30 p.m. – A caller reported his parked car was struck by another car on Main Street and the driver left the scene.

Police conducted two car stops.

Sept. 12

11:53 a.m. – A caller reported she left her stove on at home and asked the police to check her home.

6:45 p.m. – A caller reported somebody installing cameras on West Plain Street. Police checked the area.

8:38 p.m. – A caller reported a disabled car on Commonwealth Avenue. Services rendered.

Police conducted one car stop.

Sept. 13

8:12 a.m. – A caller reported an odor of natural gas by her pool on Boston Post Road.

Police conducted eight car stops. 

Sept. 14

2:58 a.m. – A caller reported suspicious activity and hearing a loud scream. Unfounded.

1:30 p.m. – A caller reported identity theft on Lakespur Road.

6:31 p.m. – A caller reported a van was blocking a driveway on Bent Avenue. 

9:40 p.m. – A caller reported a suspicious senior citizen dressed in a scally cap entered the Villa Restaurant. Police checked the area.

Police conducted three car stops.
