Wayland Police Logs: Gunshots, Dog Attack

Nov. 29 

3:50 p.m. – A caller reported hearing gunshots on Charena Road. Police found a car in the area.

10:35 p.m. - A caller reported a deer down in the road on Decatur Lane.

Police performed four car stops.

Nov. 30

7:30 a.m. – A caller reported hearing gunshots on Rolling Lane.

Police performed 10 car stops.

Dec. 1 

8:03 a.m. – Car crash on Millbrook Road.

8:20 a.m. – Car crash on Cochituate Road.

8:39 a.m. – Reports of four cars going off the road on Stonebridge Road.

8:55 a.m. – Car crash on Old Connecticut Path.

9:25 a.m. – Disabled car on Lincoln Road.

Dec. 2

1:26 p.m. – A caller reported trespassing by two unknown cars on Main Street.

2:15 p.m. – A caller reported the theft of his car radio on Commonwealth Road.

Police performed 10 car stops.

Dec. 3

9:42 a.m. – Car crash on Cochituate Road.

12:17 p.m. – A caller reported a dog attacked another dog and seriously injured it on Shaw Drive.

12:55 p.m. – Disabled car on Cochituate Road.

1:24 p.m. – Disabled car on Old Connecticut Path.

6:21 p.m. – Hit and run on Boston Post Road.

9:40 p.m. – A caller reported a suspicious car and people moving construction equipment around.

Police conducted nine car stops.

Dec.  4 

8:06 a.m. – Disabled car on Plain Road.

8:26 a.m. –Car crash on Stonebridge Road.

8:28 a.m. – A caller reported NStar workers cutting the tops of trees without permission on Pine Needle Road. Officers found that the company had notified residents two weeks ago.

10:12 a.m. – Car crash on Old Connecticut Path.

1:56 p.m. – A caller reported annoying phone calls on Main Street.

2:47 p.m. – A caller reported two suspicious men behind a house with an “axe and pistol building something.” Police checked the area and found nothing.
