The following is a sampling of Wayland Police logs.

Oct. 18

8:18 p.m. – A caller reported a suspicious motorcycle on the side of Commonwealth Road. The motorist was gone when police arrived.

Oct. 20

3:48 p.m. – A caller reported shoplifting at Stop & Shop. The suspect left before police arrived.

Oct. 21

12:15 p.m. – A caller reported a landscaping vehicle stopped in the road. The car was not impeding the road.

7:40 p.m. – A caller reported a dog bite on Plain Road.
