Wayland Police Increasing Traffic Patrols

This is why you should slow down on the roads in Wayland.

Wayland Police plan to increase traffic enforcement soon as students return to school.

According to police, officers will conduct extra traffic patrols between Sept. 3 and Sept. 6.

“These days will be 'Slow Down Wayland Days' and all residents and commuters are asked to carefully monitor their speeds as they drive on local roads. The number one complaint that the police department receives from citizens is the presence of speeding cars, trucks, and buses, especially on residential streets,” police said in a statement.
