Wayland Man Faces Second OUI Charge After Arrest in Sudbury

Arrest resulted from a traffic stop.

A motor vehicle stop late Wednesday night in Sudbury turned into an arrest of a Wayland man.

At about 11:54 p.m., James Thomas Roberts, 27, of 207 Boston Post Road, was pulled over by Sudbury police on Boston Post Road.

After the responding officer completed an investigation, Roberts was arrested and charged with:

  • operating under the influence of liquor, second offense.
  • speeding.
  • marked lanes violation.

Roberts was released at 2:23 a.m., Thursday, and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court.
