Scanner reports of body found on Water Row in Wayland. Foul play suspected.

State police detectives are investigating a possible case of foul play related to a body found on Water Row in Wayland Monday morning, according to scanner reports.

A press conference with Wayland Police is expected shortly.

Also, according to the Wayland police log, a father reported his 18-year-old daughter missing from the Wayland Town Beach on July 3 at 11 p.m.

WHDH-TV reports on its website that Malcolm Astley says his daughter has been missing since earlier Sunday evening, and says police are not ruling out that the body could be hers.

Malcolm Astley is a member of the Wayland School Committee.
