Police Urge Residents to Use MedReturn Box to Dispose of Prescriptions

Dispose of your old prescriptions any time.

In addition to the annual Drug Take Back Day, the Wayland Police Department reminded residents on its Facebook page that it has a MedReturn Box in the lobby of the Wayland Public Safety Building.

This box is part of an initiative by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office to provide a means for citizens to safely dispose of unused and unwanted prescription medications. The box is located to the left as you walk in the lobby of the Wayland Public Safety Building. The box works like a mailbox. Simply open the door at the front of the box and deposit the items into it. This can be done 24 hours a day.
