Police Log: Noise Complaints and a Possible Upside-Down Flag

  • 38 Cochituate Road; May 24, 1:16 p.m. - Arrest of Megan Sutherland on check fraud and drug charges. See "."
  • 40 Cochituate Road; May 25, 12:16 a.m. - Arrest of Graziela Guedes, 27, of Cudworth Lane in Sudbury. Natick police reported a vehicle traveling erractically eastbound on Route 30. The vehicle was located and stopped near the square in Wayland. Upon investigation, Guedes was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation.
  • 40 West Plain Street; May 25, 2:48 a.m. - A caller reported seeing a possibly intoxicated white male standing in his front yard and then walking toward the ballfield. The party was located at the basketball court; he checked OK and was sent on his way.
  • 53 Cochituate Road; May 25, 9:28 a.m. - Caller reported a large snapping turtle on the sidewalk. An officer found the turtle to be off the sidewalk.
  • 211 West Plain Street; May 26, 8:28 a.m. - Vandalism to a fence.
  • 7 Richard Road; May 26, 9:53 p.m. - A noise complaint led police to a large house party.
  • 71 Stonebridge Road; May 27, 1:25 a.m. - Report of two males walking toward Framingham and possible mailbox vandalism. Police found a few damaged mailboxes, but did not locate any parties.
  • 106 Commonwealth Road; May 28, 5:51 p.m. - Report of "overpowering base tones" from a sound system.
  • 31 Main Street; May 28, 10:03 p.m. - Report of an American flag flying upside down. The flag was simply caught in a wire.
  • 60 Fuller Road; May 29, 11:52 a.m. - Caller reported their canoe had been stolen and then burned.
