Police Log: Employee Arrested for Stealing from Stop & Shop Register

Aug. 19:
- 6:34 p.m.; 15 Whispering Lane - Caller reported a sick fox in the backyard.
- 9:07 a.m.; 101 Andrew Ave. - Wayland Police arrested Brianna Allen, 22, of 28 Frederick St. in Framingham, charging her larceny over $250.
According to a press release, Stop & Shop security notified police that an employee had been found to be stealing money from her cash register. Police arrived to find Allen with store managers and learned that she had signed a statement admitting to the theft. She was arrested and brought to Framingham District Court.
Aug. 18:
- 1:48 a.m.; 19 Pleasant St. - Caller requested assistance lifting an injured dog into a vehicle.
Aug. 17:
- 11:52 a.m.; 27 Parkland Drive -- Wayland Police arrested Lauren Amabile, 23, of 13 Grace Road in Wayland, charging her with disorderly conduct and trespassing.
According a press release, a Wayland Town Beach attendant reported that a group of people refused to leave the beach even though they were not authorized to be there. Amabile was arrested and later released on bail to appear in Framingham District Court at a later date.
