Police Log: Biting Dogs, Vending Machine Crime and a Sneaky Tenant

  • 138 Lakeshore Drive; July 17, 9:03 p.m. - Landlord reported a suspicion that a person evicted from the property was sneaking in and staying there overnight. The landlord lives in Pennsylvania and cannot check for herself.
  • 175 Old Connecticut Path; July 18, 5:30 p.m. - Report of a manhole cover that had been pushed off its base by a flood.
  • 325 Boston Post Road; July 18, 6:54 p.m. - Shoplifting reported.
  • 121 Old Sudbury Road; July 19, 4:50 a.m. - Vending machine broken into and cash stolen.
  • 38 Cochituate Road; July 19, 8:03 p.m. - Wellesley police recovered a vehicle reported stolen from Wayland. See, "."
  • 98 Boston Post Road; July 22, 5:48 p.m. - Report of a residential breaking and entering.
  • 2 Sandy Hill Road; July 23, 1:30 a.m. - Arrest of Michael Brodeur, 49, of Natick, on charges of operating under the influence of liquor.
  • 29 Pleasant Street; July 23, 9:02 a.m. - Caller reported her car stolen. This log item is related to the article, "."
  • 2 Pesce Drive; July 23, 9:15 a.m. - Caller reported two dogs got loose and bit her neighbor and the neighbor's dogs.
  • 63 Claypit Hill Road; July 23, 9:36 a.m. - Lost-looking dog with a radio collar was spotted in caller's yard. The dog had scratches on its nose and was bleeding.
  • 3 Old Sudbury Road; July 24, 3:31 p.m. - Several callers reported a loose horse. The horse was located and retrieved by the owner.
