Police Arrest Holliston Man for Vehicle Theft, Restraining Order Violation

Wayland police have arrested a Holliston man on charges that he violated a restraining order and stole a vehicle.

David P. Shock, 41, of 9 Cranberry Lane, Holliston, was arrested Monday morning in Framingham after police say they received reports that he had violated a restraining order barring him from contact with his ex-wife, a Wayland resident, and then stolen a vehicle parked at her home and belonging to a friend.

According to Det. Sgt. Jamie Berger, police responded to the wife's home after receiving reports that Shock had been at the residence. While interviewing individuals about the possible restraining order violation, officers learned that a vehicle had been taken.

The vehicle was located Monday morning at 1 Cochituate Road, Framingham, which is where officers also located Shock. He was taken into custody and has been charged with violation of a restraining order and larceny of a motor vehicle.
