On Jan. 15, open burning season begins in Wayland.
That means residents may begin applying for their open burning permits now.

-Apply in person: Visit the fire station at 38 Cochituate Road., Wayland
The burning season runs from Jan. 15 to May 1., according to the Wayland Fire Department.
