Man Tries to Bail Someone Out, Gets Arrested Himself

Never a good idea to show up blitzed at the police department. A Newton man was arrested after he allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol.
According to reports, police were called to the lobby of Newton Police Headquarters for a possibly intoxicated man looking to bail someone out. Police said the man smelled strongly of alcohol, had glassy eyes and appeared unsteady on his feet. He also had to grab the front desk to steady himself,reports said. After giving the man a field sobriety test, he was placed under arrest.  Shaun MacEachern, 40, of 313 Lexington St., was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said: http://patch.com/A-1K1G
