Fire Log: Odors of Smoke, Lock-Outs, Motor Vehicle Accidents and More

The Wayland Fire Department answered 51 calls for assistance during the week of Dec. 10-16, 2012. This is a summary of those incidents excepting standard inspections and training.

Monday, Dec. 10, 2012
9:39 a.m. - 315 Commonwealth Rd, caller reported strong outside odor of natural gas

11:07 a.m. - 321 Commonwealth Rd & 484 Boston Post Rd, fire alarm system work

1:32 p.m. - Cochituate Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

1:39 p.m. - Apache Trail, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

1:48 p.m. - 54 Boston Post Rd, activation of alarm box

6:18 p.m. - Boston Post Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

4:13 p.m. - 5 Concord Rd & 145 Main St, fire alarm system work

1:29 a.m. - 321 Commonwealth Rd, accidental activation of alarm system

9:05 a.m. - 120 Pelham island Rd, fire alarm maintenance work

4:39 p.m. - 41 Cochituate Rd, fire alarm system work

2:42 p.m. - 134 & 103 Cochituate Rd, fire alarm system work

3:15 p.m. - Maynard Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital

7:51 p.m. - 106 Main St, assist with residential lockout

6 a.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

10:02    3 River Rock Way, occupancy inspection

10:20 a.m. - 124 Cochituate Rd, fire alarm system work

10:21 a.m. - 22 Algonquin Path, caller reported multiple cylinders of liquid propane on the property

11:47 a.m. - Boston Post Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

3:35 p.m. - Wayside Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital

7:04 p.m. - Bent Ave, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

7:43 p.m. - 17 Stonebridge Rd, caller reported odor of smoke, no problem found

10:28 p.m. - Wayside Inn Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

8:20 a.m. - 533 Boston Post Rd, activation of alarm system due to an overheated belt in a rooftop heating unit

11:03 a.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

11:57 a.m. - Main St, service call

4:21 p.m. - 1 Watson Place Framingham, mutual aid to the Town of Framingham

10:55 p.m. - 12 Bent Ave, assist with residential lockout

12:45 a.m. - Green Way, medical assistance needed

2:23 a.m. - Timber Lane, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

4:32 a.m. - Campbell Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

4:36 p.m. - 2 Glen Rd, motor vehicle accident, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

4:40 p.m. - 40 Cochituate Rd, motor vehicle accident, no injuries reported

7:50 p.m. - 133 Hillside Dr, service call
