Extraordinary Acts of Service

Dear Friends,
An extraordinary effort today by Wayland High School, Massachusetts, USA. They sent nearly 900 volunteers (approximately 850 students and 50 faculty) out into the community to do uplifting acts of service. I had the privilege of working with groups in some of the exquisite conservation areas, wood buffers along the Sudbury River (one of the most beautiful rivers in the eastern USA), the Loker Conservation Area, and the woodlands along Pelham Island Road near the Town Hall (picking up trash and cutting back invasive species like bittersweet, multiflora, etc). Extended an invitation to Mr. Doherty's and Mr. Sharry's Group to join the Two Hands Project. Pretty cool, don't you think. --pat
