Support for Cherry Karlson for Selectman

We are writing this in support of Cherry Karlson for Selectman.   We were delighted to hear that Cherry was willing to add to her already long track record of town service by taking on the task of running for selectman.

We have watched Cherry over our years as residents and have admired her dedication to the Town , serving in multiple positions over the years.    She brings an intelligence,  professionalism and thoroughness to anything she tackles, and always seems to have the town’s best interests in mind.   She has been a leading in a way that made it easier to reach consensus.    She has the unique ability to persuade without ruffling feathers.

In the currently polarized political environment, we can’t think of any trait more important for a candidate to bring to the table than the ability to help forge consensus, and to do it in such a winning manner.    Wayland couldn’t ask for a better qualified person to serve as Selectman .
