Hello Mark, thank you for posting this article. Can you include a link to the thumbnail that brings the reader to the actual page on the Wayland Police Department's Web site that lists the common fraud tactics. Clicking the above thumbnail only makes it slightly larger and the text is not legible. At least not if you need glasses to read like I do. Thanks for your good work!

Lynne, certainly. I will try to get it up on our web-site today. This is actually a flyer that has been given to the local business community, and I will be dropping them off at the senior center. Please if there is anything you can think of that you or the readers would like information on, I would very much like to get this stuff off the ground and keep everyone informed.

Hi Mark, thank you for the very prompt response. It would be great to have the flyer on the WPD Web site. You could also post a link from the WPD Facebook page to the flyer. That way WPD FB "friends" can share with their FB "friends" and get the word out about these scams beyond Wayland's borders. In the flurry of the holidays and the desire to be generous to others, it's too easy to be caught off guard with these scams. So thank you again for bring this important issue to our attention.
