Wayland Photographer Smiles for the 'Chronicle' Camera

Don't miss Wayland business owner and resident Allan Dines on Thursday's episode of "Chronicle"

It's already been a big year for Wayland photographer Allan Dines.

In April, y, a studio and gallery space on Old Connecticut Path that is decorated with just a fraction of the photos of celebrities and musicians Dines has captured throughout his career.

That studio attracted the attention of the WCVB's "Chronicle" team and on Thursday, July 12, Dines will be a featured as part of a "Chronicle episode titled, "Viewfinders."

Dines said he's excited to be featured on "Chronicle," but the episode's additional featured guest added to his excitement.

"I am so thrilled to have my celebrity images featured (good timing), on the
same show as Annie Leibovitz," Dines wrote in an email.

Dines' work will be featured in the same episode as that of Leibovitz, a renowned celebrity photographer whose work is currently on display at the Concord Museum.

The "Chronicle" episode "Viewfinders" is scheduled to air Thursday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. on WCVB.
