Wayland HS Grads Asking for Film Company Donations

Pelham Island pictures of Wayland is owned by two Wayland men.

Two Wayland men are asking for help to fund their film company.

Zander Cowen and Jacob Sussman, 2012 graduates of Wayland High School, own Pelham Island Pictures and are asking for donations to fund their company.

"Two months ago, we founded Pelham Island Pictures - a film production company. We produced videos about our high school, a long distance cyclist, and a local food pantry, which you can view on our website," their GoFundMe post reads. "After each production, we worked diligently to promote our work through social media and word of mouth. Pelham Island Pictures has allowed us to improve our craft as filmmakers while establishing a brand, and a role within the broader community of Wayland."

So far, the pair has raised $1,240, exceeding their goal of $1,000.
