On Saturday May 5, thousands of people will gather in communities around the globe for Climate Impacts Day. We're connecting the dots between climate change and the very real impacts already being felt — from Massachusetts to Samoa.
Here in Wayland, we'll gather for a big group photo to commemorate the major flooding of 2010. Join us!
On the flood-prone Sudbury River, Wayland is a climate-impact "hot spot." We'll gather in the Wayland Public Library parking lot, which was flooded in 2010. Our photos from the day will join a global chorus calling for action on climate change and its deepening impacts.
This will take half an hour of your time.
Please join all of us as we connect the dots and put a human face on climate change.
