Find your body and release your mind; Come to my Candlelight Yin yoga this Tuesday

Buddha was big on mindfulness in our daily activities like walking, sitting, chewing, and splitting wood (okay not too many of us split wood anymore).

Paying attention to the movement of your body as you move; how sensations change; and how thoughts and emotions come and go -  this is what Buddha called mindfulness. It was a way to release the mind from all it's churning.

In my Candlelight Yin yoga we feel and watch the sensations in our body as we hold the poses. We watch how the sensations change and then choose to go deeper. Experiencing mindfulness on the mat gives you the practice for the times off the mat. Plus you get in a good stretch for the day.
