Open to boys and girls in grades 2-8, our production is a charming musical adventure for all ages. Pocahontas is the daughter of the mighty Algonquin Chief Powhatan. The princess delights in playing with Raven, Wolf and Squirrel. Pocahontas has also made friends with the English settlers of Jamestown. This enchanting musical is graced with a wonderful cast of characters and is filled with Native American lore and beautiful music. The play is true to the original legend! Everyone receives a speaking, singing, and dancing role regardless of age or experience level! In addition to rehearsing for this musical production, students will participate in fun drama and dance classes throughout their week at TPAC. A final performance for friends and family will take place on Friday at 2:15pm in our Black Box Theater!
