WCPA Parenting Discussion -Is This Normal?

Oftentimes children can start exhibiting behaviors that

leave parents wondering, “Is this Normal behavior for a child his/her age, and

how do I handle this?” From heightened separation anxiety to trouble with

sharing or problems with pronunciation to wondering about developmental

milestones, it can leave parents feeling ill-equipped for managing these

situations when they arise.

All Wayland parents of children 0-6 years old are invited to

attend the Wayland Children and Parents Association’s discussion group on

Thursday, March 6th from 7-8:30pm in the Large Hearing Room at the

Wayland Town Building.  Ms. Gretchen

Lutz, Early Childhood Coordinator, will facilitate this question and answer

session to assist parents in understanding their child(ren)’s behavior and

emotional development.  She will also

teach parents how to navigate the community resources available to Wayland

residents, if further outreach would be beneficial.
