New Wayland Preschool Parent / Child Visits

Peaceful Beginnings Preschool
Owned and operated by:  Kathleen Sawyer

This is a new preschool program to the town of Wayland and is owned and operated by an experienced teacher, Kathleen Sawyer who has been working with children for the past 15 years as the Director and Lead Teacher of Little Dove. She has now started her own program called Peaceful Beginnings Preschool, located at Peace Lutheran Church's Community Place along with several other programs dedicated to the education of young children through the arts.

Peaceful Beginnings Preschool is a socialization program for children between the ages of 1.6 yrs. - 3 yrs. of age. I believe that young children grow and learn through play. The goal is to provide an age appropriate curriculum that meets individual needs and promotes growth, encourages individuality, and fosters self-esteem. I achieve this by educating the whole child, while placing a strong focus on all developmental areas (social, emotional, physical and intellectual).

Peaceful Beginnings is a three day program ( Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays ) from 9 - 12:30. The program follows the Wayland school calendar year, and is starting its first year of operation this Sept. 2013. There are still a few openings for the coming year in which we will be holding Parent/Child Visits to meet the Owner and view the newly designed preschool space.  If you are a past Little Dove family and would like to come to wish me good luck with my program, I would love to see your faces.

To schedule a visit on one of these days call (978) 809-2809 or see our web site at
peacefulbeginningspreschoolwayland.com to learn more about the program.
