Introduction to Yoga Nidra
SpinningLotus Studios is excited to offer Introduction to Yoga Nidra with Reina Lovelace. The journey of Yoga Nidra leads you to the infinite peace beneath the mind’s self- limiting beliefs, or your current emotions and mood or even your body’s pain. The ancient practice is experienced much like a guided meditation and allows you to effortlessly enter a deep, profound rest where healing can occur on all levels: mind, body and spirit. Yoga Nidra is accessible to anyone and through regular practice can alleviate chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and it can help you change unwanted behaviors, making space for greater wisdom, peace and happiness.
This 2 hour workshop will go over the basic philosophy behind Yoga Nidra. Included will be a gentle restorative yoga practice followed by a full hour of Yoga Nidra. There will be time for questions and discussion after. This is a perfect workshop for beginners and experienced yogis alike. Participants of this workshop should come in comfortable clothing and refrain from eating two hours before.
