Raytheon Public Involvement Plan Meeting

The annual Raytheon PIP (Public Involvement Plan) meeting is scheduled to take place in the Large Hearing Room in Wayland Town Building on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Raytheon’s representatives and ERM consultants will provide an update on their project to clean up hazardous waste at their former Route 20 facility (400-440 Boston Post Road) in Wayland. 


The Powerpoint presentation will be followed by a question and answer period. The town’s licensed site professional, Ben Gould of CMG Environmental, Inc., also plans to attend. 


Agenda items are expected to include team introductions, a general site overview, an update about solar-powered bioremediation activities in the northern part of the property, other 2012 activities, monitoring wells, groundwater testing data, etc.

The public is invited to attend and participate. 


Raytheon’s consultants maintain an extranet website containing more than a dozen years of documents, reports and previous presentations.  To access those materials on-line, use www.ermne.com, username is raytheon, password is wayland (all lower case).  Hard copies are also available at the Wayland Board of Health repository.
