Community Corner

Photography for Mourners

Using therapeutic photography participants will have an opportunity to explore taking photos and using personal imagery to assist in life and loss review.  No experience is necessary and all types of cameras are appropriate.  Bereavement coordinator Liz Mearkle-Cumming will lead the group through six sessions.  Mearkle-Cumming is a registered art therapist/Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  Participants in our last group spoke of feeling transformed through this experience.  To register contact the Bertolon Center for Grief & Healing and please RSVP by February 4th.
