BOSTON AREA FIREFIGHTERS, ENERGIZER AND STOP & SHOP SUPERMARKETS SHARE FIRE SAFETY MESSAGE AND BATTERIES THROUGHOUT CITY

Firefighters from
the Wayland Fire Department, volunteers from Energizer and associates with Stop & Shop Supermarkets will be sharing life-saving information with community members on Friday, Oct.
25, at a family fire safety event at Stop & Shop in Wayland and then canvassing
a local neighborhood to distribute free smoke alarms and batteries, donated by Energizer, and bottled water and coupon
booklets donated by Stop & Shop. Together, they are working to encourage
residents to adopt the life-saving habit of the Change Your Clock Change Your
Battery® program.
