Weekend Happenings: Warrior Football, Dog Party, Craft Fairs and More

A few things to keep you (and your pet) entertained this weekend without traveling too far from home.

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m. at Wayland High School (264 Old Connecticut Path, Wayland).

The Buzz: The varsity football team has had a stellar year, beating some truly Goliath opponents on the way to this game against Bedford High School. A victory Friday means the Warriors bring home the DCL Small League Championship. Head to the stands for some Friday night football and cheer the Warriors to victory.

Golden Retriever Get Together

When/Where: Saturday, 8 a.m. at the entrance to the Greenways Conservations Area (near Traditions of Wayland, 10 Green Way, Wayland)

The Buzz: It's a dog party!. Several golden retriever owners are getting together to let their furry friends run, play and swim with other goldens. And of course, while the dogs play, the owners get to enjoy one another's company.

Holiday Fair -- 12 Shoppes of Christmas

When/Where: Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Memorial Congregational Church (26 Concord Road, Sudbury)

The Buzz: We're down to weeks before Christmas, and you know that time will fly. Get started on your holiday shopping at this unique fair featuring everything from toys, to "attic treasures," knit goods and more.

Fall Flare Artisan and Craft Show

When/Where: Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Acton Congregational Church (12 Concord Road, Acton)

The Buzz: Local artisans will be showcasing their wares, which will include felted hats, soaps, candles, metal work, home decor items and much more.

Tony D'Eramo Performance

When/Where: Friday, 2 p.m. at EPOCH of Weston (75 Norumbega Road, Weston)

The Buzz: Accordion player extraordinaire Tony D'Eramo will perform. D'Eramo is a member of the Massachusetts Accordion Association and tours throughout New England performing.
