UPDATED: Section of Old Connecticut Path East Remains Closed

Avoid Old Connecticut Path east in Wayland today.

UPDATE: Nov. 20, 10 p.m.

Old Connecticut Path will remain closed for part of the day Wednesday as crews work to finish a resurfacing project. It is expected to be closed from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Local traffic only (ie. residents) will be permitted on Old Connecticut Path today from the Cochituate Road intersection (Five Paths) to Rice Road.

Wayland Highway Director Stephen Kadlik said that he received word this morning that contracted crews would be available for road restoration at the closed section of Old Conn Path.

Residents only will be allowed through the area and police details and detours are in place for other drivers.

Kadlik said the section of road will be closed today, Monday and possible Tuesday from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
